did you mail a letter to yourself today
Hi.. did you? well I did.. be interesting to see the franking from the post office, for the two envelopes I mailed to myself .. but this is the one I got from my friendly Post Master.
"Licensed Post ___ce" I can't really see the last word. I don't think that there is enough room for "Office" although that is what I would think it is. It is a fine looking cancel.
Hi Michael! What are those letters on the stamp? _ landscape? And what is that building on the stamp? I figured it is an old barn or something, but one wouldn't say an old barn 'landscape', I guess.
Shalotte, Hello, How lovely to hear from you and what a good question
Yes it is an old barn as you say.. the word is corugatted, that is the word that describes the metal (in this case) shape. A rippled shape as shown in the lower part of the stamp. You have it there in Korea.. have you seen it?
Also I have some aviation covers your brother may like.. shall I send them to you to give to him?
Oh wow! Thanks, he would really like those aviation stamps! He is pretty busy now, studying hard for the entrance exam of science high school. My brother loves airplanes and cars and those kind of stuff.
What do you mean by 'you have it there in Korea'? I don't think I have that stamp....??
